FINANCIAL AID COUNSELING

Financial Aid Counseling

Paying for your student's college education is one of the most expensive costs you will be incurring during your lifetime. As of today, a private college education can cost up to $280,000 or  more than 1/4 of a million dollars which is a lot of money for all of us!  In the best scenario, a parent would have started planning for this expense as soon as their student was born. This would constitute a good 17 to 18 years of adequate financial planning for this expense.  However, this is not the case for the majority of the parents. With these uncertain economic times, even those who did do adequate savings for their student's college education, have seen these savings diminish or not grow as much as they had expected. This is when applying for financial aid to an educational institution becomes a necessity.

IvyWay is here to help you understand the financial aid jargon, to help you keep up with the dates and requirements to fulfill, to fill out the necessary forms, and to decipher which financial aid award is the best for your particular financial scenario. We guide you through the entire process and help you make an informed financial decision that will complement the college selection decision. The idea is to decide on the best college possible for your student which you can afford.
