In order to decide which school to attend, Seniors should ask themselves three questions: 1) Will this school offer me the best education possible in what I intend to major in? 2) Will my parents be able to afford to pay this school and 3) Will I be happy here? To answer the first question, students should not just rely on rankings. Check the school's curriculum to see what they offer in terms of your intended major. For the second question, go over the financial aid packages of all schools and make sure you understand exactly what the final cost will be. Place in your short list only those 3-4 schools which your parents can truly afford to pay. And as for question 3, visit your short list schools and when you are there, ask yourself, "Do I see myself here for the next 4 years?" A college or university that fulfills all three questions is the school that's perfect for YOU!
