Should I take the SAT or ACT with Writing?

Whichever exam the student decides to take, we recommend that they do so with writing. We also recommend that the student keep on file any graded essays in which they have done well and their teachers have made positive comments on them. Princeton University began asking for graded essays in lieu of the essay portion of the SAT or the ACT and already several universities are doing the same. So, beware! Keep your graded essays on file!
