On January 31, the Department of Education (DOE) released an announcement notifying that the institutions would receive FAFSA applicant information in March at the earliest. If the announced timeline remains in place, students may not receive letters with aid offers until the middle of April, or even later. This certainly disrupts the typical enrollment timeline and creates significant disruption and anxiety in an already tumultuous year regarding the rollout of the new FAFSA.
