Put down your No.2 pencils forever: the SAT is going digital!

The College Board announced this week that the SAT will be going digital as of 2024 for US-based students. The purpose is to make the test taking process less stressful and more relevant. Furthermore, the test will be shorter, approximately two hours, and will continue to be scored out of 1600. This change to digital is due to the growing test-optional movement.
