The Additional Information section in the Common App is an optional section where students can include additional information to support their application. It is recommended, though, to only use this section to explain the following scenarios: extenuating circumstances and/or other details related to your academics and extracurriculars. This section should not be used to repeat information already seen in the rest of the application nor to write another essay.
