Schools tell you that if you apply ED there is a greater chance of getting accepted. True. But they fail to tell you that since it is a binding agreement, any financial aid that you get is final and done with. Not only that but through this process, students change their mind so much that a school that they may love in November may not be the school that they end up loving in May. So is ED good for any applicant? ED is good only for students who know that School X is the perfect one for them because they have visited it countless times, have compared it with others and this one has consistently been the one at the top.
